Another very good talk; I have listened to it twice and am still ruminating over all the implications for our everday lives. It all makes sense, of course, as well as highlighting the main reason why the exhortation “know thyself” is anathema to many people – because if you truly know yourself, then you can no longer turn a blind eye to your little dishonesties and rationalisations. The problem is, such a realisation would be directly opposed to the interests of your ego. Damn!
