I am very excited to announce the publication of my first book whose subject is the phenomenally important transneptunian body, Orcus. It has taken three years to get this far (I started researching Orcus seriously in 2009) and I am delighted to be able to share this knowledge with the wider astrological community, who, I very much hope, will continue the work of bringing Orcus into the mainstream of astrological study.
In my view, the importance and impact of Orcus cannot be underestimated. He is, in every aspect, as profound, meaningful and effective in the nativity as his twin, Pluto, and in many ways his influence is more prevalent.
This is only the beginning of the journey, and I hope to share it with all of the many kind and sensitive souls that have supported me over the last three years.
I would especially like to thank Steven Forrest, truly a genuine and generous man, for his advice and support, without which I am not sure I would have ever found the courage to release Orcus into the wild.
You can buy the book from Amazon.com, or for UK customers, the book is available here.
Fabulous !
I will be ordering this book today.
Excellent! Buona fortuna, Jeremy – I know this has been a labor of love for you! PS – Elsa P. is excited about the release as well and is giving your book a good plug over on her site – thought you’de like to know.
congratulations !
like the birth of a child ..
will be gratefull to take it in, as soon as possible
congratulations! have ordered this today
Just ordered this on Amazon. Very excited to read it! Congrats Jeremy.
Yeah, I’d like to read this too. I noticed that when Saturn crossed my natal Orcus in late 2005, I had a pretty big emotional crisis and the only solution was to come out and be gay openly. Hah… I didn’t even know about Orcus at the time. But I’ve been looking for things in transits around that time and this is the most striking factor. Well done on the book, really looking forward to it.
Congratulations! I’ll be ordering the book too… as soon as finances allow. Is there a Table of Contents published anywhere on the web? I was wondering if midpoints and/or progressions and solar arcs to/from Orcus will be covered in the book? 🙂
Will you be making this book available any time soon in e-book format, ie PDF, Kindle etc? I’d love to purchase this book but live in a small space so electronic books have been invaluable as my astrological library has grown in the last few years. Plus I love being able to take my library with me wherever I go.
There will be a Kindle version available any day now. Thanks for your support.
